Reading encyclicals

In my social ethics class, we read a lot of social encyclicals. For the most part they read horribly because the class is structured in a way that is difficult to think. A more efficient and effective means of reading encyclicals would be to read them topically:
  • choose one topic (many times the topic will present itself)
  • google search (social) encyclical N. (your topic)
  • ctrl+f your topic
  • read
  • look up other encycliclals
  • ctrl+f your topic
  • or use the google advanced fetures

    •  (search term) site:vatican.va
